A place to begin
An empty page is an invitation. It gives an idea a little space to become clearer, and gives its writer a reason to pay attention.
This is Sample: a small notebook for observations, questions, and things worth keeping. Some posts will be practical. Others will follow a thought simply to see where it goes.
The aim is modest. Write something honest, make it easy to read, and leave the reader with a little more than they arrived with.
Start where you are
You do not need a grand subject to begin. A conversation, a sentence in a book, or a familiar street seen at a different hour can be enough.
Notice one detail. Explain why it stayed with you. Let the next sentence follow.
Good ideas often arrive quietly. A notebook gives them somewhere to land.
There is room here for unfinished questions as well as confident answers. That seems like a good place to start.
